While Mozilla provides a basic structure, resources, and support, the festival is essentially designed and produced by volunteers — teams of educators, activists, engineers, artists, and researchers who care about the open web and a healthy internet.

The MozFest Production Cycle

MozFest is a big project-- it’s Mozilla’s signature annual event! The process is fun, creative, energizing… and it’s also deadline driven. We break the work down into a number of “phases” listed below, with rough time frames. These will be finalized later in summer.
