Waiver, Acknowledgement and Release
MozFest House is aimed at a local, regional audience. Should you wish to attend in person, this is on the understanding that it is at your own risk, as any travel has potential financial and health risks. Before considering any trips, we advise you to consider the following:

- Restrictions on leaving and returning to your home country
- Purchase of a robust travel insurance policy, if possible
I acknowledge that voluntarily choosing to attend the event may expose me to hazards or risks that may result in my illness, injury, or death including, but not limited to, risk of COVID-19 or other infection or other permanent or life-terminating injuries. I acknowledge that MozFest House: Zambia is intended to be a local event aimed at a regional audience, and the event hosts shall have the sole discretion to, and may need to, cancel the event on short notice and for any reason. I acknowledge that if the event is canceled, I will be offered the opportunity to request a refund, but Mozilla will be in no way responsible for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of data, loss of income or profit, loss of damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties whatsoever. I hereby fully release and agree to hold the Mozilla Foundation and its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, and event partners, to the extent permissible by law, harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may arise in any way in connection with my voluntary decision to attend an in-person event associated with MozFest House: Zambia. I understand that this release discharges the Mozilla Foundation and its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, and event partners, to the extent permissible by law, from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against the that may arise from, or in connection to, my voluntary decision to attend Mozfest House: Zambia.
